After issuing subpoena's to seventeen of Spamhaus U.S.-based customers, e360 obtained copies of invoices issued by Spamhaus Technology LTD and The Spamhaus Project LTD, proving Spamhaus does business in the United States.   U.S. Federal Judge denied all of Spamhaus' motions today in open court. In addition, Judge Kocoras ordered Spamhaus to comply with e360's motion for a citation to show assets.   e360Insight announced today it submitted an affidavit to the U.S. Circuit Court in Illinois stating Spamhaus receives an estimated $1.8 million in annual fees for improperly blocking e360’s email messages. This affidavit was submitted under oath by David Linhardt, e360’s President and Founder.   Today, Spamhaus violated a U.S. Federal Court order to remove e360Insight from its blacklist. On September 13, a U.S. District Court in Illinois issued a permanent injunction against Spamhaus prohibiting them from taking any action that would cause e360’s email messages “to be blocked, delayed, altered, or interrupted in any way.” (more)
   
09.15.06 Federal Court Orders Spamhaus To Pay $11.7 Million For Improper Blacklisting

  A U.S. Federal Judge ordered Spamhaus.org to pay $11.7 million in compensatory damages and issued a permanent injunction against their email blocking technology. The permanent injunction specifically prohibits Spamahaus.org from interrupting e360Insight’s email messages in any way without providing supporting evidence. The order also requires Spamhaus.org to post a message on its website indicating e360 was wrongly listed on its blacklist.
